Reiki is a Japanese energy technique that facilitates peace and balance in your mind, body, and spirit. Reiki or chi (universal life force energy) is activated through the reiki master’s hands to the client and flows naturally to where it is needed.
I often incorporate some yoga and massage ball rolling in reiki sessions to complement the practice and bring more awareness to the physical body. During a Reiki session the client is fully clothed and lay comfortably with the support of bolsters, props to enhance restorative quality in the body. I then apply a sequence of hand positions on the head, torso, hips, knees and feet. Reiki flows and balances the meridian channels and organs to support your optimal state.
