Reiki is a Japanese energy technique that facilitates peace and balance in your mind, body, and spirit. Reiki or chi (universal life force energy) is activated through the reiki master’s hands to the client and flows naturally to where it is needed.
I often incorporate some yoga and massage ball rolling in reiki sessions to complement the practice and bring more awareness to the physical body. During a Reiki session the client is fully clothed and lay comfortably with the support of bolsters, props to enhance restorative quality in the body. I then apply a sequence of hand positions on the head, torso, hips, knees and feet. Reiki flows and balances the meridian channels and organs to support your optimal state.
Some benefits of Reiki:
Illness and pain support
Calms the mind/aids meditation
Strengthens immune system
” For many years I have wanted to explore Reiki and energy work. What I found in Carine is truly amazing.
She is gifted in this wonderful work. After our first Reiki session, I felt tension and stress melting away. This was replaced with lightness and joy that seemed to intensify over the next several days.
The next session, I knew I was ‘hooked’. Carine is intuitive and has an ability to ‘tune in’ to what I need. She collaborates with my own energy and intentions and takes that to a new level. It’s as though a new window has opened in my heart. I can’t wait to see what comes next!
“Carine’s yin yoga class is the yoga that I have been trying to find for years. Carine is such a good teacher that I’ve finally been able to grasp the basics and make that elusive mind body connection that I’ve been stumbling through since the 70’s. At the end of every class, during our last pose, Carine wafts lavender over us. One night, during this time, she took extra time over me, and I felt the last claws of my 3 days migraine lifted out of my skull and jaw. When I asked her about it, she explained she had cleared my energy. I felt that she waved my negative energy away. It was true magic.” Judyann
